Ectoine is an extremolyte, a substance produced by microorganisms living in extreme environments such as salt lakes or deserts. These microorganisms produce ectoine to shield themselves from dehydration, heat, and harmful environmental influences. This very ability can also be harnessed by the human body – especially to protect the sensitive mucosa in the throat.

- Protection: Ectoine forms a fine, stabilising protective film on the mucosa. This helps guard against harmful environmental influences, irritants, and dehydration.
 

- Moisture: The active ingredient binds water, maintaining the natural moisture of the mucosa. This helps prevent dryness and the unpleasant sensation of a scratchy throat.
 

- Regeneration: Thanks to its cell-stabilising properties, ectoine promotes the mucosa's self-healing and helps damaged areas generate more quickly.
 

- Relief: Ectoine has anti-inflammatory properties and soothes irritated mucosa – relieves discomfort caused by a sore throat, hoarseness, a tickly throat, a dry cough and difficulty swallowing.

For children aged 2 and above, adolescents and adults.

Spray 1–2 sprays into the mouth and throat several times a day, including at night.

Do not exceed a maximum of 10 applications per day.
