What is a healthcare product?

Who is this product suitable for and how often should it be used?

The spray is suitable for children aged 2 years and above, adolescents and adults. Spray 1 to 2 times into the mouth and throat several times a day or at night.
Does the effect diminish if the product is used over an extended period of time?

To date, there is no evidence that the effect of Ectoin® diminishes when the product is taken over a long period of time. No habituation effect has been observed to date.
Can the product also be used for sore throats?

neo-angin protect spray has a mild anti-inflammatory effect, making this product a good choice for young children (aged 2 years and above) with mild sore throats.
Can the product be taken while pregnant or breastfeeding?

There is no evidence to suggest that it should not be used while pregnant or breastfeeding. To be sure, consult your doctor.
Does the product cause fatigue, dependence or withdrawal symptoms when discontinued?

No.

Yes, neo-angin junior is suitable for children aged 6 years and above. This is a low-dose sore throat remedy with a fruity orange flavour. It is the first sore throat remedy in Switzerland developed specifically for children.
neo-angin lemon-flavoured throat lozenges contain a slightly higher dosage, but are also suitable for children aged 6 years and above.
Can neo-angin medicines be taken while pregnant or breastfeeding?

As a precaution, you should avoid taking medicines during pregnancy and while breastfeeding, or ask your doctor, pharmacist or chemist for advice.
